Cristian Cernat holds a B.Sc.Eng (MEC) from the University of Bucharest in Romania. Having seen the gap in the HVAC market for small to medium size installers Cristian decided to open Luft Technik in 2006. Cristian has extensive work experience in Buildings Mechanical & Electrical Services, Design, Supply, Installation and Customer support that spans across Europe and South Africa. He has successfully completed projects that included system integration for solar air conditioning and absorption chillers, the design and supply of solar powered water heating systems and the design and supply of industrial hot water and steam systems powered by solar. Cristian and his team were responsible for the installation of the first solar powered air conditioning system in South Africa.
